Summer Youth Halaqa

For Youth Girls

Weekly meetings will be held on Zoom (link emailed to registered participants) on Thursdays at 8:00-9:00pm EST
Dates: July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20 (8 sessions)

This weekly Halaqa will be led by Sr Nour Goda. Sr Nour is an experienced teacher and school administrator who reverted to Islam after having left the fold of Islam for over a decade. Recognizing that her experience is not unique and that there is a dire need among Arabs and Muslims to address highly sensitive and controversial matters, such as atheism, Sr Nour decided to develop a multimedia initiative dedicated to candid, intracommunity dialogue. MYCC is thrilled to have Sr Nour join us this summer for a unique opportunity for teenage girls 13-18 years old.

Sr Nour will discuss
current events and topics relevant to our youth. It’ll be a safe space for youth to open up and freely discuss matters that are important to them.

NOTE: If you are a CIT with MYCC Home Edition this summer, you were automatically registered for this Halaqa.

Cost: $50 for 8 sessions - Registration Form is below
